Mission Principale

Within our industrial department, we are looking for a Supplier Quality Technician. Your main role will be to help to develop, deploy, evaluate, and improve the quality of our external Asian suppliers. You will report directly to the Asia Quality Manager.

The position is based in Canton (Guangzhou).


The mains missions are :
Coordination with product development
  • Follow the development process and manage the collaborative interface between suppliers and Babolat
  • Monitor the ITR (Industrialization tracking Report) between the development, marketing and supplier teams.
  • Ensure all items are available and signed off before mass production
  • During industrialization and mass production, check all steps to ensure they follow R&D requirements and quality standards.  
  • Check 100% of Pilot Run and SMS samples before delivery  and report any issues to the appropriate teams.
  • Build and continuously update the Control Plan.
Supplier Quality
  • Participate in the development, monitoring and continuous improvement of the supplier's quality management system.
  • Evaluate the supplier's quality system to ensure that it meets Babolat standards and conduct annual audits
  • Conduct a bi-monthly Manufacturing Quality Assurance Audit (MQAA).
  • Ensure that suppliers comply with all regulations set forth by Babolat (Reach, CPSIA, ROHS, etc.).
  • Verify manufacturing parameters of the production line and verify that semi-finished products meet product specifications and retain samples.
  • Review manufacturing records for semi-finished products, raw materials and product testing.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports on supplier quality performance.
  • Inspect products orders prior to shipment and conduct random testing on the production line.
Customer Quality
  • Analyze and follow up non-conformities coming from Babolat customers with the suppliers' factories.
  • Inform the concerned people at Babolat of the implemented solutions (marketing, R&D, purchasing, logistics and quality teams).
  • Conduct a defect sheet when a major defect is found at a supplier.
Implementation of the quality toolbox
  • Monitor supplier RFT and MQAA reports and prepare inspection summary reports.
  • Prepare the SQPR (Supplier quality performance report) monthly.
  • Upload monthly ITR and CAP on SharePoint.
Project support & KPI monitoring and achievement
  • Support the team's project: create the best manufacturing practices.
  • Accomplish the KPI set annually


Graduate from university, engineering school and/or business school. You have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position in a quality department. An experience in the sports industry and good knowledge of FMEA, SPC is a plus.

Also, you are able to work with Microsoft Office and other software tools.

You are fluent in English. Knowledge of French is a plus.

You are proactive and resistant to stress and you have good communication skills.
